Insurance of objects of cultural value

AlfaStrahovanie offers insurance for objects of art and culture stored by cultural institutions (museums of different forms of ownership, galleries, collections, etc.), companies whose main activity is trade in antiques and art objects (shops, auction houses, art dealers, etc.) as well as enterprises whose activities are related to transportation (relocation), design, restoration and evaluation of art and antiquities.

Insurance of objects of cultural value allows to avoid unexpected costs related to loss of cultural values or damage caused by risk factors covered by the contract.

Providing this service, AlfaStrahovanie is ready to offer contracts on an individual basis, taking into account all the requirements of the insured and providing comprehensive insurance of cultural values — for the period of storage, display, transportation and relocation, and separately for each of the respective periods.

Depending on the needs of policyholders, AlfaStrahovanie is ready to enter into contracts of insurance on «all risks» and «nail to nail» terms. If necessary, the coverage may include additional risks, such as:

• risks related to war and terrorism during transportation;
• strike risks;
• risk of loss (disappearance);
• risk of reduction in value resulting from damage caused by the insured accident, etc.

Insurance contract may also provide additional insurance for «associated» assets — exhibition equipment, boxes, packing materials, etc.

If transportation is carried out by specialized transport companies, insurance contract may provide for waiver of subrogation to the persons engaged in the transportation.
